Who Knows the Way

Who knows the Way with grace abounds

and cannot say with uttered sounds

of ecstasies in faith redoubt,

of choking sorrows when about

those places showing of despair

through painted smiles and sick-sweet air.

To Love is pain embraced in hope

to give and hold unmeasured scope

to feel and not, as fits the day,

to know and doubt and humbly pray,

to fear, yet courage find anew

to gently, bravely, soul renew.

Forgive, confess, and go absolved

from will to Will to be resolved

to peace accept as warrior would

and know the Way in mercy stood.
